Gene Jameson made his first wooden knife kit for Christmas in 2008. He was a woodworker and wanted his son, JJ, to learn proper knife safety skills. And, of course, JJ really wanted his own pocket knife but was too young to have a real one. They are still hand-cut and hand packed in the USA. These pleasing little tins each hold six pieces of American hardwood, three metal pins and instructions. It goes without saying that the wooden blades are unsharpened. We think these are best for 7 years and older.
