The Animal ABC Book,
A Collection of Animals in Watercolor, by Terry Lyn Nash.

This is an educational hardback children's book, designed to help parents and educators teach the English alphabet. It is also a work of fine art, with each page containing a beautifully reproduced original hand painted animal in watercolor. In addition, each page shows the animal’s name, and the upper- and lower-case letter of the alphabet associated with the animal. To assist children in remembering the alphabet, at the end of the book there are two pages dedicated to an exercise where parents, educators and children can work together to match the correct letter of the alphabet to the name and a small painting of the animal representing that letter.

Author Profile:
Terry is a native Coloradoan and an outdoor girl at heart. Although she earned her college degree in an outdoor related field, art found her along the way. While employed most of her life as a graphic designer, she also pursued a parallel path in painting. In her free time, Terry and her husband like to take adventurous vacations, ride their bikes, hike in the nearby hills and mountains, and often take trips where he fly-fishes, and she paints.
